Founded in 2007 by Jon & Penny Kemp, Sustainable Energy Systems has grown to meet the demands of this expanding and developing market. From April 2009 to July 2010 the office was located at the rural business centre of the local college. Now with nearly one hundred installations throughout the UK and an increasingly busy order book we have recently moved into a purpose built office facility and storage warehouse in Great Eccleston, Lancashire. The business is practicing what we preach as the energy requirements for the office and warehouse are met by a large photovoltaic array covering the whole roof.
- The building has a full 9kWp solar Photovoltaic roof using Uni-solar thin film flexible laminate panels mounted onto a Kingspan composite panel roof.
- Larch clad, it is fully insulated to create a cool atmosphere throughout the summer months and keep out the cold in winter.
- Ground source heat pump installed to supply the heating requirements of the office.
- A rain water harvesting system is to be installed to provide water.
- Full double glazed windows and doors.
- Low wattage high frequency luminaries and LED lighting.
- All office furniture is from a company who use recycled items to make their products.
As an ever-growing company, Sustainable Energy Systems are soon to also be MCS accredited in ground source heat pump installation broadening the services offered to our customers.
