A home owner from Lancaster approached Sustainable Energy Systems in August 2009 to design and install a solar Photovoltaic array at her property. The customer wanted a system which would contribute towards, if not cover her energy requirements. A 1.44kWp array was installed in October 2009 following consultation.

After 1 year, the installation has generated 1114.2. This is over 230kWh more than estimated for this insallation.

"The array sits perfectly on my 2 bedroom house. Along with the panels, SES Ltd installed an inverter (SMA Sunny Boy 1700) in my loft, and the generation meter that goes along in the hall so that I easily have access to it and see how much green energy I am producing. In addition, the installer explained to me all that I may ever need to know about the system, handed me all the documentation, and promptly sent me the paperwork needed for the accreditation. Hence, I am now on the full FiT tariff for which the admistrative part ran smoothly.

The job was done in October 2009, took less than 3 days (carried out by a very friendly team). As far as my household is concerned, the energy produced should entirely cover my electricity needs over a year. In support of my deduction is the revised electricity bill from my supplier: dropped at £2/month!"

"Prior to installation, work dates were given, maintained and the complete installation was made within 3 weeks of our start date without a hitch. Advice was provided at site by SES on the running of the installed equipment with a full pack of documentation to follow. Help was provided by SES with information regarding our Utilities provider and with our electricity provider, both of which might have been problematic if not for this assistance. Throughout the complete project, nothing has been a problem to SES, their site Engineer and his team were friendly and informative during all aspects of the installation.

WBH thank SES for their performance throughout and can say that we would unreservedly recommend highly SES to anyone considering such an installation."
