Evance R9000
Overview: 5kWp Rating | Single of 3 Phase | 10m, 12m, 15m & 18m

The Evance R9000 is a 5kWp, British designed and built turbine suitable for projects such as schools, farms, rural homes and light commercial. Designed at Loughborough University, the R9000 supersedes its predecessor the Iskra AT5 . This new design benefits from new features such as a lower cut in wind speed of only 2.5m/s, maximum rotor speed of 230rpm and hydraulic tilt up towers up to 18m and superior foundations options including root and rock type designs.

The Evance R9000 has been specifically designed to capture more energy at lower wind speeds making the R9000 the most efficient 5kW turbine available. With a patented high efficiency generator, the R9000 converts up to 96% of the energy captured into electricity in on and off grid applications.

Tower Heights available: 10m, 12m, 15m 18m (33’, 40’, 50’ & 60’)
Tower Types: Free-Standing (monopole), Hydraulic RAM & Gin pole tilt

Gaia 133
Overview: 11kWp Rating | 3 Phase turbine |15m,18m,27m

The Gaia-Wind turbine is a 3 phase turbine and has a peak rated output of 11kW. It produces an energy yield that is practical for supplying electricity to properties such as farms, large residences, offices, small businesses and public buildings where the primary goal is to reduce the amount of electricity imported rather than generate specifically for export. The turbine has been developed according to ‘Danish design’; the design basis for most of the large commercial turbines used today. Like larger scale turbines, it has a slow rotational speed (61RPM) which remains constant regardless of the wind speed. It also incorporates many of the control and safety features found in larger utility-scale turbines.

The Gaia-Wind turbine is configured to give an optimal yield in moderate wind speed sites i.e. those with an annual average wind speed in the range of 4.5-7.5 m/s (10-12mph).

Tower Heights available: 15m, 18m, 27m (50’, 60’ & 89’)
Tower Types: Monopole & Lattice
