Resource Assessments:
Determining the viability of a site is a key issue that must be addressed. The capital outlay is not small change for many people and therefore the potential return must be investigated to ensure that a profit /breakeven point will be achieved in a reasonable period of time. We will provide assessment service to monitor the wind resource at your specific location. This can then be related to the output performance curve of the turbine in which you are interested. From this correlation an estimate can be made of the total power potentially produced from your turbine in that period.
Wind Turbines
These range from small off grid units up to 20Kw grid connected systems capable of producing many times the average house hold energy requirement. When selecting a wind turbine you must first assess you own priorities and requirements for having one. Items such as: Visual impact and sound should be assessed along topographical location turbine size and wind resource. With respect to the output power of the turbine, you should really select the highest output you can afford however the turbine performance is also critical.
